Q:I reside in an independent house in Bangalore. This plot of land was purchased by my grandfather through a sale deed. My grandfather and father died. The Katha of this plot was in the name of my father and now in my name. I plan to construct a new house on this land. My question is, whether my fathers sisters progeny has any claim to the said property.
Latest Answer: The Khata in the name of a person signifies that the person concerned is in possession of the property in the revenue records for all intents and purposes. The Khata Certificate is a secondary document of title, the primary documents being the sale deed, partition deed etc.
Q:It is an endless or tough discussions that which one is more preferable and will last long an Apartments or an Independent house. Please suggest which one is better: an apartment or an independent house?
Latest Answer: The prices of the land is touching the sky which made the purchase of the site and the construction of a house almost impossible and moreover the cost of an independent house is in dismay. Now a days customers are prefering comumnity living more attractive because of the facilities offered as well as the ease in handling maintainance and security. To build an individual house it need a proper contractor as well as proper design. Infact fresh land for individual houses are not available now a days. So people prefer to go for a flat or an appartment. Apartments are unlikely to remain in a perfect state for over 30 years.
