Q:Hi, I want to construct a house on B-khata property. It's a Gramthana site not approved by BDA or BMRDA. I have checked with many nationalised banks, but no one provides loan on B-khata property. Its not a DC converted land.
Has any one taken loan on b-khata property? if yes could you please share the contact details of the bank. Thanks
Latest Answer: B-khata is just a register maintained by BBMP official it is not considered as a valid khata. B- khata does not exist on paper and moreover for b-khata property you cannot avail for home loans also.
Q:I have read in one of the forums that , B-Katha/B-Register doesn't give you the authority on Land.Does that mean, government still has the authority to take away the lands, demolishing the built houses, if needed?Please let me know, what is the exact process to buy a Land. A-Katha lands are not affordable in bangalore.I had checked many places in bangalore, most of the lands are portraied to be B-Katha lands and builders are selling a constructed house in these lands.Will it be a good idea to buy them and pay the betterment charges later.Please guide.ThanksRahul
Latest Answer: B-Khata is not considered as a valid Khata extract. Khatha literally means an account, this Khata is an account of a person who has property in the city.
