Latest Answer: Hello sir,
LRS means Layout Regularisation Scheme. It is required when any construction is in a Municipal area and is unauthorised, so it can be regulated under this scheme but it must be confirmed by the concerned local body. Any property which is in a municipal area will require municipal permissions and any area outside the municipal limits will require Panchayat authorities approvals.
Q:some banks are approving loans towards this purchase some are asking for Lrs but builder is saying its comes under grampanchayat so LRS is not required
Latest Answer: i think HMDA has appealed to apply for LRS which is compulsory as per LRS Rules. It is for regularizing the plots which are having registered Sale Deeds executed prior to December 31, 2007. Please do verify it.
