Latest Answer: Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike came out with a notification for the residents to manage dry waste. BBMP has offered the residents to make a profit by selling dry waste at attractive rates to Dry Waste Collection Centers established by them. This is being seen as a step towards attaining Swacch Bharat Mission, an initiative yet to be taken in most of the cities.

Latest Answer: With the community staying around the Mandur landfill agreeing to allow the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to continue dumping of garbage, in return of which they will get water. According to report, the BBMP released Rs 1 crore for providing drinking water facilities and improved road infrastructure in Bidarahalli and Mandur gram panchayat limits.
