Latest Answer: Santosh Nagar is a good investment destination in the medium to long term. It is one of the rare areas in South Kolkata that offers very good deals as far as residential apartments are concerned. One of my friends has invested in a project by Bengal Park Chambers which if offering possession as early as December 2013. Other significant developers with good projects in and around Santosh Nagar include Belani Group, Siddha Group and Orbit. I expect the region to offer as much as 15 to 20% returns in a decade or so. The price trends of Santosh Nagar have always been realistic but I don’t see prices dropping due to its South Kolkata location.
