It is come to hear that the Housing Ministry has accepted a proposal of a Parliamentary panel's recommendation on the Real Estate Bill to make the provisions stricter and increase the 50% threshold but not lower it. The Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation ministry has also accepted all 38 recommendations made by the 21-member Rajya Sabha select committee which submitted its report last week.

Latest Answer: Hey kaushik, Congress was no sure of their stand, congress was "the one who proposed this and they are the one who is picking holes in their own proposals". How cunning the Congress part were? Now that is a politically unsustainable situation... in the Budget session Congress told the govt., they will do it in the next session. Now they are saying that they are not against the GST, but they have some suggestions..

Latest Answer: Hey Guys, According to Finance Minister, it is not a setback. It is set forward. Rather than involve ourselves in political deadlock and remain parked in a traffic jam situation, we should take the possible route, which has lesser political cost, provide greater freedom to the states... and states who want to get benefit out of it, get the benefit out of it.

Furthermore, even the public private partnership projects which are run by the government,, generally in the energy or road sector, can fall into a crisis due to large acres acquired.

Q: I heard that the Union Minister for Rural Development has said that land acquisition for future special economic zones (SEZ) will be included in this bill. Is this a confirm news, if yes what is the reason?
