Q: The NDA Govt. is getting ready to diminish the size and speed of its smart city mission.
Latest Answer: Yes, it is true Visal. The minimum area require under a greenfield project is 250 acres and that for brownfield is 500. Any redevelopment has to be done on an area of more than 50 acres. Though the guidelines permit both plans in adjacent areas, the explanation still lacks clarity on it.

Q: The NDA Government is treading carefully on the real estate bill, after it was forced to withdraw the land acquisition amendment bill.
Latest Answer: The government should not only think about providing homes to all but also make sure that builders take the right route to provide homes i.e. the building should be as per the norms and should have all the facilities and also should be free of legal hassles and the occupancy Certificate/no objection certificate should also be handed over to the society as soon as the building is finished so that they do not have to face hardships later on.

Q: What are the pros and cons of land acquisition bill ?
Latest Answer: Hey kaushik, Congress was no sure of their stand, congress was "the one who proposed this and they are the one who is picking holes in their own proposals". How cunning the Congress part were? Now that is a politically unsustainable situation... in the Budget session Congress told the govt., they will do it in the next session. Now they are saying that they are not against the GST, but they have some suggestions..

Q: The NDA Government is planning to introduce a extensive real estate regulation bill to protect the interests of the buyers as well as to regulate the industry
Latest Answer: But decision is yet to come Subramanya sir.....and waiting for the finger crossed... Now, housing projects on more than 500 sq-mt would have to register with the proposed real estate regulator as opposed to the threshold at 1000 sq-mt that was fixed earlier. Also, the interest rate payable by the promoter or allottee in case of any default by either would be the same now.
