Q:Hello, This is Krishna.. In recent news, there was something about the MUDA taking up land development as a joint venture with farmers, can I have some details on this?
Latest Answer: According to this law, the MoU for joint venture development will be entered into only with real landholders in whose name the record of rights, tenancy and crops (RTC) is registered and not general power of attorney (GPA) holders. The MoU clause will decide that ownership of 50 per cent of the land acquired will be with MUDA and the ownership of remaining sites will be with the party entering into the MoU with MUDA, or the farmer.
