NDMC are aiming to complete Smart City project in 4 yrs.
Q: New Delhi is among the 20 urban areas chosen by the central government for the first phase of development into smart cities.

Latest Answer: Hi all, But it will be a difficult task for the NDMC to free the capital's showpiece hub of unauthorized hawkers, and strengthening the rainwater harvesting and refilling of the water table will also be undertaken. Health and safety of citizens will be the focus of special technology. Besides CCTV surveillance, air and noise pollution sensors will be installed at various places, while the electric poles will not only bear LED lights, but also controllers triggered by incidents such as a scream of panic.
