With due respect, I want to ask a query that When unmarried lady is transferring property(urban/rural residential) to her sister's daughter. Can exemption from stamp duty and registration fee be claimed here? If yes, Kindly send the supporting documents at akalharpreet@gmail.com.
Related to punjab state. Kindly reply as soon as possible.

Thanks

Latest Answer: Dear Sir/Mam Thanks for the reply. I already explored the punjab revenue website and also consulted some experts and also want to put forward this crucial knowledge in front of you that their is no stamp duty in the case aforementioned above. Kindly refer to the notification S.O. 20/C.A.211899/S.9/2007, dated the 27th April, 2007.

Latest Answer: Hi, Check the Title of the flat is clear or not. You don't need to pay Service Tax and VAT. Builders charge because it is thier regular course of business of building and selling so they charge Taxes. (but not of that Lady) Registration charges should be paid by you. After Registration is over. check the doucments online on Registration website showing details of Flat and Sale Deed Number. Is in your name and details of the flat are updated on the website. (Encumbrance Certificate EC is record of registered documents over a property check on website of Registration and Stamps Department).
