Q: Bhubaneswar Development Authority will construct 240 EWS houses at Chandrasekharpur for removed slum dwellers.
Latest Answer: Finally Odisha government has approved proposal project of constructing 240 EWS houses by BDA for slum dwellers in Chandrasekharpur. It is a social responsibility of BDA to relocate these evicted slum dwellers. Tender will be invited for involving private builders as well as developers to build these houses.

Q: The developer are going to be given free-sale part of land as associate incentive for absorbing the project, that builder will sell on the open market.
Latest Answer: Hi Mr Pranay, As per the new policy, a survey of the known slum cluster are administrated by DDA and therefore the closing date for eligibility for rehabilitation are as determined by Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB), that is presently June, 2009. this may be updated as and once done by DUSIB.

Q: What is news about DDA not been alloted to slums dwellers? why ?? I thought those houses are constructed for them
Latest Answer: Hey guys, according to authority, this allotment will be done within few days from now . Firstly bcz empty flats can be a place for robbery and secondly the flats costs Rs 1.21 lac, hence Government wont play with the money

Q: It came my notice that the state is planning to provide houses to the slum dwellers. Will they keep their promises?
Latest Answer: I do not know about the promises, but the State said that if the government is approving the proposal then they will soon start with the project.
