Latest Answer: Hi, I think the challenge now a days will be how to convince the customer to choose a particular project during lock down. As now a days developers are coming up with some really good programs to secure the interest of the buyers to initiate a deposit, but still customers are hesitating. Is it because of lack of trust in agents or developer or the scope of industry? Also what will be your take on real estate industry specifically of Delhi, as Delhi has started witnessing high rise apartments and premium gated societies.

Real estate companies have to repay the interest on the loans they had taken on previously. They also need to pay interest on it. Moreover, there are projects that are still being built and need to be delivered by a certain date. Money will be needed for all these things.

Q: Hi, do you know that the Godrej family became the highest bidder for Bhabha Bungalow in which Dr Homi J Bhabha, father of India's atomic energy programme, lived for years.

Latest Answer: The second highest bidder was Ajay Piramal with his bid of Rs 371 crore. NCPA will seek the charity commissioner's approval to transfer the property, a process which could take around 45 days. It is said that the eight entities had registered themselves for the auction as eligible bidders. However, only three turned up on Wednesday.
