There are many small and large scale industries here. There are a number of higher education institutes like engineering, medical, management, pharmacy etc that are operational so, it can develop as a major educational area as well.. Hospitals are quite a few, probably no big names but good enough to get quality health care like the Military hospital ,Meerut cantonment general hospital, KMC hospital and research centre, meerut hospital, Green hospital, Anand hospital to name a few and not to forget the LLRM medical college and dental hospitals.
