Q:I invested ages ago in Kochi. Have been waiting for ages for the smart city project to finally be completed so that I can sell my property. But it keeps getting delayes. Has there been any final news on this guys? When can we expect it to be completely ready?
Latest Answer: Yes, other than that, works for the supply of receiving and distribution of power, water, street lighting, data and communication connectivity are also going on. If they can keep this progress up, then most of the supporting infrastructure will be ready by the time the entire project is ready 4-5 years from now.
Latest Answer: I’ve even heard that the government representative at the board of directors played a very insignificant role, which resulted in an agreement which mostly favoured the TECON. If the government fails to live up to their promises, then TECON can take legal action against them, but not vice versa. Its been 7 years now, and still no scene of real development at sight :(
