Q:Hey guys, i am very keen to know if there is any initiative that are take for the development of tourism infrastructure in Perumbavoor. I see that this place has lot of potential. If anyone is aware of any initiatives in this direction, please lemme know.
Latest Answer: making this bridge would connect the already existing tourist spots as well as some more developing spots in and around the Perumbavoor area for tourism. I think this project includes places such as St. Thomas Church Malayattoor, Ezhattumugham nature village, mulamkuzhi waterfalls, panyeli poru forest tracks, sacred groves of Iringole Kavu, Kalil Cave Temple as well as Kodanad Elephant training centre.
Latest Answer: Hey this is the tall apartment building near Queen Mary's Convent right? Gokulam. It is by this new construction company called Gokulam Builders. It is in souht of Perumbavoor town
Latest Answer: Hi. Pulluvazhi means there are very few huge residential projects. I think this Panayancheri one is near the Queen Mary's convent. Pleasant area.
Q:Hi. I am relocating from Mumbai to Perumbavoor in Kochi. I wanted a basic overview of the place. How are the schooling and hospital options? What about connectivity to nearby towns?
Latest Answer: Hey, Perumbavoor is pretty well connected by road. If you have a four wheeler, pretty much entire Kochi is accessible! Also public transport connects well. Nedumbassery Airport is 14 km away. Aluva and Angamaly railway stations are pretty close too. Kaladi, Malayatoor and Kothamangalam are all nearby.
Q:My father is thinking of investing in a farmland in Perumbavoor. He wants to build a farmhouse and have a kind of a weekend getaway place there. He's asked me to find out what problems he might face. I think he wants to have a nice garden, with a nursery attached. Guys please help out
Q:Moving in with my parents in a house in Perumbavoor soon. Actually it is my gradparent's house, and after their death my parents decided to live there from now,.. Anyway, what I wanted to know - is there any water shortage problems here? Everything else can be dealt with, but I feel that we must be aware of this one issue, so that we can make arrangements from before.
Latest Answer: The people here have to frequently write in to the water authority board of Kerala, informing them of their plight, but almost 90% of the time, even that is in vain
Q:Are there any nearby train stations in Perumbavoor? Also is the airport really far away? I need to travel to other cities a lot, so asking. I'm planning on buying a nice house in this locality by the end of this year.
Latest Answer: Its fine that the airport is not here, its not that far away either. The Cochin International AIrport is just 15 km away from Perumbavoor. it will take you around 35 mins to reach there via the Kalady-Perumbavoor road.
Q:hey can somebody tell me what the scene is with the bypass project that was supposed to happen on Perumbavoor road? Will this new infrastructure project help reduce the traffic congestion that this locality faces?
Latest Answer: What the municipality as tried to do in Perumbavoor has actually been a fail so far. The recent one way route did little or nothing to help regulate traffic and only 10% of the total houses in Perumbavoor were given the compost pipes and biogas plant. According to me, a medical college and a traffic signal are the immediate requirements of this town. A medical college would do wonders as property worth would go up as more people demand for property here, especially people from high range areas. The government better efficiently use those 73 acres of Travancore Rayons land and proper scientific land use patters must be instilled. If not, Perumbavoor will def not be considered as the best place for investment in Kochi.
Q:I've been reading a lot of articles that say that Perumbavoor has many civic issues. Is Perumbavoor an unsafe locality? And how developed is the locality?
Latest Answer: Hey I just recently read something about Perumbavoor! Since Kochi is turning into a major commercial hub, Perumbavoor is one of the places that has a lot of tourism potential. The project worth 1 lakh is already underway in Iringole Kavu at Vallam. There are many other places that are tourist hot spots. The Naganchery Mana is situated near the Iringole kavu which is a sacred grove spread over 40 acres of land. This is another beautiful spot here. So the place will eventually have great real estate value and potential despite some minor civic issues :)
