Q:I've heard that the Coimbatore Civic Authorities have become quite strict when it comes to dealing with real estate tax defaulters in Nanjundapuram. Can anyone give me details on this? I'm moving there, so I need to know everything I can. Thankyou!
Latest Answer: The coimbatore civic corporation is currently involved in putting up banners and spreading awareness about this new rule to all the residents. At least they are trying to inform everybody instead of blindly taking action without even mentioning it to any of the residents. People might feel edgy to move to Nanjandanpuram now because of this but I'm sure this problem will be dealt with the same way all over Coimbatore. Atleast, by the end of this, if everybody adheres and pays the tax, then maybe Coimbatore can finally enjoy some improved civic facilities in the area.

Also, manholes are being placed every 30mts or so on the road. The onflowing traffic coming in both directions have to manage within the remaining half of the road, which is not enough.
Even though the corporation has tried to cover up some parts of the trench using gravel, it has not helped the situation. The road is now extremely uneven and poses a threat to first time travellers. in the night.
