Q: 24 FIRs were filed against builders and politicians with the Rabale MIDC police in the Digha illegal construction case, taking the tally to 52 FIRs.
Latest Answer: Hi Anuskha, The demolition campaign to clear 99 illegal buildings, which came up on MIDC and Cidco land, is remaining as residents of the buildings, who were given removal notices, are now obtaining stay orders from time to time. Out of those granted stays, 3 buildings were brought down by MIDC in October, providing over a 100 families homeless.

Two of the buildings targeted by MIDC demolition team, Ambika Building and Moreshwar Apartment, have got stay till December 31, delaying the action.
