Q: Hello, Are the applications that were rejected in the land regularisation in hyderabad being considered again? What is the status of these applications.
Latest Answer: Oh this is a good decision taken by the governmennt, only in this way. the number of beneficiaries under regularisation can be increased... right now the people who are actually gettingthe pattas are very less.

Latest Answer: In terms of appreciation of the area, the western and the southern parts of the city is doing really well. Western side of the city is already well developed, and there are a lot of things like SEZs that are coming up in the southern part of the city.

Latest Answer: Hey. This is fresh news. There is a full-fledged budget for the new state now, Telangana government proposed a total expenditure of Rs 1,15,689 crore, including non-plan expenditure of Rs 63,306 crore for 2015-16.

Q: Hello everyone. Please provide some information on the Gurukul Land Trust issue. Is it safe to invest in here now? Are there any new updates on this issue in the high court?
Latest Answer: Hey but I have heard that the government has decided to treat these Trust lands as Urban Land ceiling lands to enable regularisation. GHMC had demolished few buildings last June, but the demolition was stopped midway after the issue took a political turn.

Q: Hello, I would like to know if there are any plans by the Government to hike the registration fee in the city right now. Please provide information.
Latest Answer: the hike in registration values could range up to 150 per cent where the property value has reached peak levels. The government aims to earn Rs 3,000 crore this year through the Stamps and Registration department against last year’s target of Rs 2,500 crore.

Q: Hello. Please tell me if there have been any changes in the revalidation charges of layouts and group housing projects recently in Hyderabad?
Latest Answer: Previously, while approving draft layouts 15 percent of developable area was also mortgaged in favour of HMDA which is lying with HMDA even after the completion of six years period. In view of the problems faced by developers and others, a decision was taken for levying of revalidation charges.

Latest Answer: The standing commitee has hinted recently that 10 lakh house owners would get relief to the extent of Rs 100 to Rs 120 crore. For 11.5 lakh properties, the revenue loss would be Rs 250 crore.

Q: Hi, I am Pradeep. I would like to know if is this true about the property tax exemption in Hyderabad for residential properties? Please provide some details on this.
Latest Answer: as per section 202A(1) of GHMC Act, the state government may exempt any residential building occupied by the owner from property tax where the annual rental value is Rs 600. As per this provision, properties having a tax of Rs 156 can be exempted from payment. In the same way, the property tax is very nominal, Rs 4 per year, for houses constructed for urban poor

Q: Hello everyone, I heard that GHMC is in great hurry to collect Rs. 1500 crores of tax overdues and will supposedly try to collect them in the next 45 days.

Latest Answer: Hello. I got to know about some of the statistics that shed light into how many have paid the taxes. Out of the 13.85 lakh properties over 7.51 lakh property's taxes have been cleared while over 6.34 property taxes have yet to be paid.

Q: Hello guys, is the last date for the land regularisation for properties that were built on encroached land been extended? Doesn anybody have information this?
Latest Answer: Regularisation of illegal houses constructed on lands admeasuring 125 yards and more will be decided as per the fee fixed by the government. after the regularisation is done, the government wants to ensure that there ar no illegal constructions of encroached land in the future.
