Q: Hai. Myself moving from Chennai to Coimbatore in 2 weeks. I am going to buy a house in Coimbatore. I want to know what sort of new infratructure developments are coming up in Coimbatore this year? Based on that, I have to decide where to invest. Any info would help. Thankyou

Latest Answer: Hey the real estate sector will definitely get a boost from all these infrastructure changes. Property prices will appreciate by a large margin and you will get very good returns from investment :)

Q: Hey i heard that CRRT is going to rejuvenate 7 lakes in Coimbatore? When is this going to happen? Can anyone tell me more about this enviroment protection act of Coimbatore?

Latest Answer: Actually compared to other tier 2 and tier 3 in the south, Coimbatore's property market is slowly gaining good returns. Also development is very much there. Lot of IT companies are taking up office space in Coimbatore. Now even residential demand for completed residential projects is rising. Give it more time. Or invest in Coimbatore only for long term investments.

Q: I read somewhere recently that the reason why Coimbatore's property market is now one of the major economic markets of India, is because of limited infrastructure and development. Is this true? What changes need to be made then?

Latest Answer: I don't think this has anything to do with infrastructure. because for a tier 2 city, Coimbatore is really doing well for itself. What the problem is that realty experts can't seem to look past development of tier 1 cities and find the potential in tier 2 cities like Coimbatore.

Q: I feel that 2014 is a very promising year for Coimbatore's real estate market? However, I want to know how it will be different from last year? What are the promising changes that are going to be made?

Latest Answer: Some issues need to be dealt with in 2014. All infra projects should come up. Then civic issues must be dealt with. Problems with water and electricity supply must be fixed. Then only people will be more keen to invest in Coimbatore real estate market.

Q: Hey I remember the last few years were very slow for Coimbatore's real estate market. What is the scene now? Heard there were going to be some changes implemented with respect to property in Coimbatore/ Can anyone tell me what these are and how 2014 is going to be a better year for Coimbatore real estate wise?

Latest Answer: Honestly, there are mixed reviews about real estate market in Coimbatore. Most of the commercial spaces were taken up by banks, insurance companies, and IT and ITES companies. But now it is an occupier market.

Q: Whatever happened to the Coimbatore Corporation Master Plan that was supposed to take place in 2011? What sort of proposed developmental changes is it said to bring to the city? Where all is this project said to take place apart from Ganapthy?

Latest Answer: Finally! About time! Also they've chosen specific key places for improvement like Ganapathy, Kalapatti, Kavundampalayam, Kumarapalayam, Sanganur, Singanallur,Telungupalayam and Vilankurichi These localities were picked because they are places with high potential that has scope for improvement through all these major developmental changes. Also it is the sensible thing to do because the all trains are passing through these locations and hence metro projects and all should happen at they key points. But we shouldn't be too optimistic also. Let's see how this 'Master Plan' goes..
