Q: Zodiac property in R tower has been delayed . I want to surrender my flat please advise the procedure. Can we form a group and initiate legal proceeding to get our money back?

Latest Answer: Hi, You must have been given a receipt of the booking amount by your builder. The receipt must be mentioning terms and conditions. Send an email to builder that you want to cancel the booking and request builder to refund your booking amount. Let your builder mention in writing that 5% or 10% of paid amount would be cancellation amount. Accept the deduction under protest and then move consumer forum against builder for refund of balance amount with interest.

Q: I made total payment in nov 2014 NOC issued .....but still no handover of flat....it was supposed to be handed within two month s.... but 2 yrs have passed.....Amrapali should answer what the hell are they doing after taking money from buyers.....

Q: In May 2011, I bought a 3-BHK flat in Sector 120 Noida. The rate has changed from 2700 to 4700 psf. Property size 1670 sqft. The handover is scheduled in next month. I am paying an EMI of Rs. 18000 pm. The registration is yet to happen which will require another 3-4 lakhs. Kindly advice if I should keep this property and get the registration done to give it on rent (approx 17k) as i live in a different city. Or should i sell it before registration and invest somewhere else.

Q: Hi, I booked a flat in Laurel in tower B and have recently received a demand for 10th floor casting. Due to the current situation in noida, the bank is refusing to disburse the loan amount.

Have any of you guys faced the same problem? Are you going ahead with the payment or should we ask the builder for and extension till the bank clears the project again?

Latest Answer: Request your bank to give a written statement/letter for refusing to disburse the loan amount. Give the copy to builder and request him for extension. If builder not agrees, seek legal expert opinion and remember to keep letter from builder and bank for future reference
