Q:Hi common floor,I have property about 1.2acre purchased in 2011 and constructed buildings with farmhouse approval from town panchayath and running business as hotel. I am paying commercial tax for the same since last 4years. I have NOC to run the business from the Executive officer of town panchayath. I would like to change the property to commercial now. The property is in Kanchipuram district of Tamilnadu. What is the procedure and is it possible? How many days will take? Kindly advice on this.

Along with this, you need to take the latest receipts evidencing the payment of non-agriculture tax.
