Thank you for your responses, yes you are all right and I have also referred on the internet of various ruling given by consumer courts, but I have come across many people who are suffering due to the absence of any Law regarding standard formats of sale agreement and its compulsion of implementation by the mighty builders and secondly slowness and costliness of the Indian judicial system has discouraged many and continue to do so.

Q:Hi,I own a flat in the W tower that was promised possession in Dec 2013.. Its running too late and now Amrapali is bombarding us with messages to prepay to avoid increase in service tax. This is ridiculous.. we will need to pay additional service tax because the builder delayed the project. This is unjustified. The builder needs to pay the penalty as well as the additional service tax they are demanding now.

You are right. Now-a-days no of residential apartments in the recent past has increased at an exponential rate with more than 20000 apartments are under construction in the state capital itself. In the absence of any policy framework, builders were violating norms and duping a large chunk of customers.
Q:I am a Customer of Subh Grih Project, Boisar. I got a letter from
Tata housing, tata housing not giving Possession in Jun-11. Before one
Year Tata Housing had sent completion letter, about 70% complete. In
Jul-11 Tata Housing had sent completion letter, about 90% Completed. I
had submitted completion letter in Bank for next installment. I would
like to inform you that I am living on rent. I pay 7,000 Per Month and
had paid 18% interest of late payment installment to Tata housing. 18%
is too much I have paid fine. Now, Possession being late. So, I need
compensation 7000/- Per month. Tata housing Send mail and letter also:
reschedule the delivery to November/ December 2011. Now saying, building
not completed and not giving possession date also. Before one year Tata
housing proudly had told me, Will give Possession before deadline. After
getting all payments, not giving possession date. Now Saying Seven month
More. Not ready to give compensation.
What should I do ?
