Minimum level of understanding should be shown by the members and society
Q: I am not getting cooperation from flat owner residing above me. He removed windows and doors of his flat for renovation and did not fix it back .Rain water accumulated in his bed room and leaked in my bedroom. One side wall and roof has fungus and discoloration. I expect him to do whitewash to my bedroom. Society calls it internal matter and is reluctant to interfere unless both of us approach the society,which is not likely to happen. Any advice?

Latest Answer: Hi Ramesh, I can understand the issue as the same as been faced by me. Take up the matter with the association and try to make them understand. Speak to the builders. Usually the owner above your residence should pay but if he is not doing then either pay yourselves or take legal help.
