Q: Two days ago, Loksatta published a detailed story on how several buildings in Casa Univis do not have TMC permission at all, and how MP Lodha used his political clout in cahoots with TMC officials to launch/build this project. As a owner in Tierra B, I am really worried. These guys announce a project a week but they do not want to put their papers in order.

i had booked one flat in tierra A in August '2009. then got a loan approval from HDFC for home loan also. After payment of about 10 lacs there was no indication from builder about when the next payment is due. After 4 months i started following up to know when the next demand would be raised. then customer service people started revealing that approvals are not in place. HDFC guys ( branch staff) also stated the same thing. Approvals will take time and then only next demand will be raised. Then i realized that i had made a mistake of booking the flat going by the builder's name. Even the sales guys of HDFC never revealed all these while processing the application for loan. In Jan'2010 i decided to cancel my booking as i did not see any point in waiting for all approvals. Finally i got all the money i had paid for booking to the builder. I lost the interest on the money i had paid to builder and opportunity to invest somewhere else. lessons learnt: 1.
