When can the builder start Maintenance? How is the Maintenance fund controlled? Is he suppose to return bal to society?
Q: The builder in our apartment has started Maintenance but is maintaining the flat is very bad condition? deficient House keeping people, no proper cleaning, Lifts not working. Garbage collection from individual flats not done? we are very much troubled. what should we do?

Latest Answer: It is builder's responsibility to maintain the apartment and its amenities, before formation of apartment owners association. Most developers provide a corpus fund for maintenance of apartment and its amenities. After completion of project and apartment owners association, builder need to handover left over money, audited accounts of the maintenance fund and interest earned.
