Rajesh, Apartment Resident
Q: My TV Media Friends who came to my flat to shoot a cooking programme was not permitted by the Association. Also they were insulted by the Association People saying some reasons regarding security and they are forced to move out of my flat. But they are ready to allow the shooting within MY FLAT if I pay them Rs 4,000. Also they pointed out it as being a nuisance for other residents but the same association is letting Film shootings inside which is again a Nuisance. Is it something illegal to shoot just a cooking show within MY FLAT? Kindly advice

The worst part is apart from asking money, they sent security to my flat and asked my media friends to move out of the flat. When questioned about this, there are not ready to answer anything for this. The worst part is apart from asking money, they sent security to my flat and asked my media friends to move out of the flat. First of all if its not a commercial activity. Its a personal shooting which was about to done by my media friends. I cant understand how it will affect others when the shooting is happening in my own flat not in common area. When talk about hassles, then no residents can do any work like interior work or any alteration work as it a hassle and disturbance to others. I accept seeking a permission as this involves security reason and other hassles but why they are asking for money to shoot within my own private flat. Also I feel they have to obtain permission from other residents while they are permitting to allow movie shootings don't it be a hassle for others. How come they can ask my media friends who is in my flat to move out when we decide not to proceed? Even I have sent an email asking an explain a week ago, also I cant able to reach them as they are not ready to give contact details to discuss further on this. It mean if I pay money then it wont it be a hassle for others?First of all if its not a commercial activity. Its a personal shooting which was about to done by my media friends.
