Q: Hi, I have booked a flat in SGIL Orchid one year back (approx). Now I have received from the builder that my area of the flat has increased by few sq cm. I come to know that builder has increased the super build area for each flat. At the time of purchase, the marketing has clearly told us that the super build up cutoff is 17-18% only in this project. Now they are changing it to 22% and charging for the same to every owner. This information is not mentioned in the agreement. My question is: How much builder has authority to change such information (as it is not the part of agreement) and charge it to owner?
