Planning to buy a plot which is under Panchayat
Q: I am planning to buy a gramthana plot (farming layout) near Whitefield. The plot has Panchayat Khatha number. The layout is taking Panchayat approval only. Please suggest me is there any problem to buy this? If I buy what are the precautions I need to take.

Hi Krushna, I don't think there is any problem in buying this. Before including Whitefield area under BBMP it was a Panchayat and that's why the plot is still under Panchayat. So I feel that there would not be any problem in buying this. If the documents are clear then you can proceed.
