I am planning to buy a flat in Jan 2012.
Q: What are the documents that are to be scrutinized before buying the flat. What are the documents that are to be taken possession by the association after completion of the building?

The legal documents you required are the Encumbrance Certificate, tax receipt and bills, title deed of the property and the sanctioned plan.
