Service tax & VAT on Land owner's share of apartment
Q: When i purchaed apartment from Landowner, he clearly told me that there won't be any service tax as its a resale. Now he is asking for Service tax 3.09%. As he is saying that new rule has been implimented in Bangalore. Please help.

Latest Answer: Please check the agreement if anything has been mentioned about the ST + VAT. Actually the originally buyer should pay the ST + VAT
