Complaint on Ahad Builders, Bangalore Silver County.
Q: 1.After the budget they have increased the Vat and service tax. It's not that they should not increase, but then now they are charging Vat and service tax on registration amount also. They are charging servie tax on Vat also. 2. After budget they have increased service tax from 2.6% to 4.06% which actually should be 3.09% (Govt has increased service tax by 2% only) 3. They are charging both the taxes on Car parking and maintenance deposit, ideally they should be charged only on the Construction cost. 4. They are charging new Vat and service tax on the complete amount irrespective of the amount paid in last financial year. Beware before booking a flat. All these things have happened even you have signed an agreement way before. I hope respective Govt. bodies also reading this unfair costing and will take a proper action.

Latest Answer: I was planning to book an apartment in Ahad - Pearl and been told by locals from around that it is build up on Government land and they haven't bought it. Not sure, but can some one advise me please how can I cross verify this claim before booking the apartment?
