Mr. Narayanan, My cousin booked a flat last year and have been told for the past several months that the work will commence anytime. Then he was told that a single buyer (who is also a seller of the old flat) has been holding the process up by refusing to sign one of the documents, although he has handed over the keys. I find that very hard to believe. What I have heard is that the location may get rezoned as a commerical complex which provides an opportunity for Ramaniyam to make a lot of money. My aunt is an old lady and has been looking forward to moving into her new son's new flat but the builders have been playing this hide-n-seek game for so long. I tried to call them from London (where I live) but no one answered the phone. Q: As Delhi residents complained some time back, metro made them sleepless in the nights, is something expected from the Metro coming up near Ramaniyam Ganga.

Noise is not an issue with Ramaniyam Ganga. It is more likely that the actual Ganga water may come to Chennai via a river-linking project before Ramaniyam Ganga flats come up. So no point discussing the noise issue.Noise is not an issue with Ramaniyam Ganga. Q: I have heard the builder is well reputed in Chennai. I will appreciate if I can get to know some information around this project, like how is it coming up, any known issues etcetera.

What I have heard is different. One of the buyers (or sellers of the original flats) is refusing to sign a release document , demanding more money. Hence the demolition work has not started. The project has been delayed by more than a year now and the poor buyers are stuck. I am personally not willing to accept this excuse. I don't think, even in India, the corrupt, goonda-led, sham of democracy, it is possible for one ordinary guy to hold up a project like this. There is something fishy about Ramaneeyam and this project. What I have heard is different.
