The property tax is usually paid at the zonal offices. There are seven zonal offices of the Mysore City Corporation all over Mysore. Different ward numbers have been allotted to each office. You need to go to the zonal office that offers civic service to your ward and make the payment. You have to collect the SAS forms in the office itself and fill them up correctly. You can also get this done by the officials by paying a charge of Rs 25. Once you make the payment against the filled form, you will receive a challan. This challan needs to be stamped by any official for the payment to be accepted.
Dear Vasanth, Thank you very much for the details. How would I know which office corresponds to the location where my property is? Is there anything I can find online? Its just that I want to collect as much information as I can before I travel to Mysore, so I can finish the work in one day.
