Q: I'm planning to buy a B-Khatha plot in Horamavu area. Looking at city development plan, this plot is in residential area and not reserved for park/road etc. Will Akrama Sakrama regularize it? How is the date Oct, 19 2013 helps here?

Thats correct Rakesh. Starting March 23 2015, government will accept applications to regularize the B-Khatha properties. The rule says the properties constructed before October 19th, 2013 are eligible to get A-Khatha. I'm not sure about the plots/sites. the question I have is, If we buy a b-khata plot now, will it be eligible for the conversion?Thats correct Rakesh. My comments to replies
The much awaited " Akrama Sakrama" scheme will implemented from March 23 for a period of one year. Owners can submit applications to the urban local body concerned to regularize illegal constructions and construction of houses in revenue sites in ULBs. Violations up to 50 percent and 25 percent would be regularized in case of residential and commercial properties, respectively.
Thats for constructed houses/buildings. What about plots/sites? Any idea on how much do they charge?
