Stamp duty for commercial property
Q: I have booked Commercial Property in Nalasopara (West) with Bharat Construction & I would like to know that what is the current ratio to pay the Stamp Duty on Shop.It can be calculated on Sq.Ft Or on the value of Agreement If NRI purchase the same property what will be benefit to him & Income Tax will be Liable to him or not ?

Latest Answer: The rates of Stamp Duty for Shop is 5% of the market value of the property or agreement value, which ever is higher.
