Can anyone tell me the order of events in apartment construction process...
Q: Can anyone tell me the order of events in apartment construction process... I recently bought a flat in an apartment which has 5 floors , each floor has 4 flats. So total of 20 flats. Now cement work is completed in all the 20 flats..shelf's work is in progress.. My builder says it will be completed in 2more months..But I think there are lot more work like flooring,painting, windows,door fitting,Apartment Entrance gate/wall etc., Can u pls tell me what will be next sequence of actitivities to be done to complete construction

Latest Answer: Hi Raju..this is an ideal process of construction. Some apartments builders may or may not include any of the step. It first starts with the Grading and site preparation followed by Foundation Construction. Then starts Backfill, Framing, Installation of windows and doors, Roofing, Siding, Rough electrical, Rough plumbing, Rough HVAC, Insulation, Drywall, Underlayment, Trim, Painting, Finish electrical, Bathroom and kitchen counters and cabinets, Hard Surfaces installed, Finish plumbing, Carpet and flooring, Finish HVAC, Hookup to water main, or well drilling, Hookup to sewer or installation of a septic system, Punch list and then You finally move in.
