Q: What is the VAT and Service charges on apartment in Hyderabad? Is it charged on Registration Value or Sale Agreement Value?

Latest Answer: Hey Sp..according to my knowledge..tax department of Government of India has implemented VAT on all Sales Agreement done on or after 1st April 2010. i think it is calculated at 1% of Agreement Value. And Service Tax would be 4.12% of the total considered value. Please do verify above details.
