Uday Sawant, Apartment Resident
Q: I am Uday Sawant resident and flat owner of 103 C wing. We are facing leakage problem from flat no 203 c wing at Kitchen in sink area. This problem is major and due to this the colour has damaged and walls became very dirty. The flat is rented and the flat owner is not answering my call. Kindly look in the matter as soon as possible.

Latest Answer: As per CHS bye-laws, the cost toward repairs should be shared by both the parties. If he disagrees, then It may be a long affair with the society, the consumer forum and the police too. Alternatively, the dripping/seeping leakages can be repaired from your ceiling itself without disturbing or damaging the upper floor bathroom. Talk to the upper floor resident at the earliest and try to settle the matter amicably . Also consider the weakening of the structure and reinforcement due to prolonged contact with water.
