Hi As per my knowledge..if your project in in within Kolkata Improvement or Howrah Improvement act..then it is around 6% (if the property is below 25 ), above 25 lakh..7 % is charged. If the property is in Municipal Corporation or Municipality then it is 6%( if the property value is below 25 Lakhs )and above 25 lakh 7%,is charged.Other than these localities..i.e Panchayat...it is 5 percent (if the property is below 25 lakh )and above this..6 %is charged. Kindly verify the details provided.
what if the value was 32 lakhs ? What would be Stamp Duty?
