Maharashtra Rent Legal Changes
Q: Hi, earlier, 500 Rs stamp paper was applicable for creating rental agreement. But recently, i heard from different brokers that this is no longer valid. You need to do registration and it will require around Rs.6000. Is it valid or still Rs 500 stamp paper will work

Latest Answer: Hi Vikram, I had a word with the several brokers in Mumbai and found that Rs. 500 stamp paper will work and the it cost you around 2000-2500 including registration work and all.
