Q: The property I am planning to buy has original allotment letter and possession slip missing which were issued by DDA. But they do have the conveyance letter which was issued by DDA when property was converted to freehold. Is there any thing I can check about this to be sure if the deal is OK?
My comments to replies
There is a big risk with these two main documents missing. Tell the seller to get a duplicate copy from DDA office.
Would the conveyance deed be sufficient? And what kind of risk is there? Thanks for your help
