Ban lifted on GPA-based transactions
Q: Is the Delhi government planning to lift the ban on General Power of Attorney anytime soon?

You are actually in delay, within a week of this order being released about 107 properties have been registered based on GPA. As per the data available with the revenue department, 26 properties have been registered in Geeta Colony, 18 in Seemapuri, 15 in Kapashera, 14 in Kashmere Gate, 13 in Hauz Khas, 5 in Pitampura, 5 in Rohini, 5 in Preet Vihar, 4 in Asaf Ali Road and 2 in Narela.
I must tell MR. Sohal that its all a myty as GPA to GPA sales has not yet been allowed. Only register onwers can sell a property on GPA. Now, there might be only 1% or even less than that registered owners as all others are GPA holders only. So, virtually nothing has changed.
