Q: I had paid booking amount in May/14.Then in June I paid service tax, 20% payment done .TDS deducted but no certificate given only receipt .Then they told me to pay stamp duty and registration fees.Paid online on 1/8/14 ,gave them UTR No and e receipt .They say it takes time to generate Challan

Latest Answer: Hi, My personal advice to you that visit the builders office and ask for the registration paper or challan, Read all the paper carefully specially the clause which mention the compensation on delay project. Products and services by builder are covered under the Consumer Protection Act. If you have grievance against builder, send a notice to him in writing. Do not worry if he refuses to accept your notice as only proof of sending is required. File your complaint in the consumer court in case the builder does not respond to your notice.
