Q: I have a 3 BHK (1315 sq ft) at Sector 17, Vashi, Navi Mumbai. Now this is one of the prime spots in the satellite city. Based on the property rate trends, should I hold on to this property or does it make sense to sell this and look for a 4 BHK in one of the modern constructions in Kharghar? What can I demand for the property I currently hold in Vashi, Sector 17? Given that loading is much less compared to ~30% in today's constructions, I've been told that a per sq ft price does not really make sense in this locality. People just ask for a lump sum. What is a decent price to ask?
Latest Answer: Hi, Since you are already holding a property in Sector 17 in Vashi, do not sell it immediately. At least try to retain the flat till you get good appreciation. Dont make a hasty decision by selling the present flat and going for a new one at Kharghar. Chances are there that you may get less price for the flat which you are possessing in Vashi and you may have to shell out more for the new one which you are planning at Kharghar.
