Q: Is Nitesh Estates coming up with new projects in Bangalore?

My replies to this discussion
Nitesh Estates is by far one of the most successful builders in Bangalore. But that's where the catch lies. The success and all the other buildings have been laid on the money looted from common man. An extremely unethical company with no professionalism either from the CRM or the Finance team. The rest of the management , of course, is not within anyone's reach. I booked a flat in Nitesh Estates British Columbia last year on the 15th floor. I paid a booking amount of 5.76L and i was told after a few months that they didn't get permissions for that floor. I didn't want any other flat and so chose to withdraw my application. It's almost been an year and they still haven't given me back my money. This is how they exploit and harass. I would wonder why 5.76L would be such a big deal for them. Even if it is, who cares? It's not their money, so they ought to return it. But principles like those apply for ethical people. People without greed and with right conscience should boycott such builNitesh Estates is by far one of the most successful builders in Bangalore. But that's where the catch lies. Q: Nitesh Estates British Columbia harrassing me by not refunding 5.76L for an apartment booked last year, that didn't get the approval. So had to withdraw my application. what should I do to free myself from this unethical looters?
My replies to this discussion
I am actually willing to pay a good chunk of the refund amount if someone's willing up to take this cause for me. I just want these looters to realise that they can't just take a common man for a ride. This isn't about the money anymore. Hi Sunil, Talk with the builder once again if he is not responding properly or not ready to refund your money, then take help from legal expert and take necessary action.
Thanks Kunal for the response. Yes, now I want to take these guys to task. Am sure Nitesh has probably the smartest set of lawyers who are good at fighting and dragging these cases till eternity and loot and harrass people even more. I have been following up with the builder for past 6 months. They keep responding saying "matter is being looked into"- but are shamelessly taking their own sweet time. I am one of the lakhs of victims of real estate goondaraj. They rarely respond to my emails, and if they do, its only a curt note that the matter is being looked into. Why do they expect us to chase them down? What if one is busy to do that? Is it certain that he will have to silently suffer? Why is it that these builders don't hesitate to exploit the common man? Shouldn't organisations like these be taken to task? Does this now become the onus on my part to take time out and go to consumer courts?
