Q: I am planning to buy a flat in Panvel area. How do I ensure property is not illegal and safe to buy?

Hi Mahesh, You have to ask the builder for all the legal documents, verify it by a property lawyer, visit the local municipal and ask for the legality of the land, check with the local municipal whether there is any issue with the land or not, check the connectivity of this project and basic amenities from the project site.
