Latest Answer: Hello Anita, Yes, you need local body approval if you go beyond that. The PMC can issue a Stop Work Notice under Section 354, if it feels that the ongoing work is unlawful. If there is unauthorised construction, then the PMC can issue a Show-Cause Notice under Section 351.
