The Builders say ready to move in..with giving a legal OC..by BBMP...once you register the property even khata cannot be given without OC...waiting since 4 years of booking...its not legal to occupy premises without BBMP OC as per law...as then the builder can absolve themselves of all responsibility once they get thier money and walk away...they are pushing owners to register and sending a self attesting letter by thier own architect that building is ready...!!! its really a joke...no legal clearance needed according to them. I have booked in end of 2013..and till date we have not received the certificate of Occpancy. As per sales agreement delivery was March 2015..its been 4 years and counting...they keep saying OC is expected soon but pushing people to register the property without OC ( so that they can pass on responsibility to owner).....they have to give 5 rupees a sq ft for every month of delay..but they are not replying that it will be paid till we get the official OC...very unprofessional...and now the new RERA act gives waiver to all builders who have completed more than 60 percent and have applied for OC even it it takes 5 years...

Same here,..im my case 4 years....and now they are refusing to pay the delayed charges saying that their architect has self certified it by saying the building is ready.
