Do anyone know what is the exact reason for delay in construction. It is delayed by 2 years and no signs of any progress made in last 6 months.

Everybody is in trouble with the same situation, I m also having a flat in this society. As per my knowledge the delay is becasue of recession and fund crisis with the promoter. Now the promoter has arranged funds and will start the project by the end of this August month and will continie till final possession. One more thing they are also building a new tower in the middle of 4 towers and pricing of the property is going to be very high soon. So if you have waited for lond then retain this property and this will give you a very handsome return by the end of this year.Everybody is in trouble with the same situation, I m also having a flat in this society. Of Course you can buy the flat there. YOu can ask for the society bylaws for knowing about the signing authorities. AS per Mr. information Mr Umesh Garg, Seceratery, GCSAS will sign the documents. Hi, i am about to buy a 3 BHK, in Shivkala Charms.But i have heard the project has been delayed for more then couple of years nw.Even i went to the site thrice, but i saw no development or progress in the construction.I have been told tht i will get the possession by dec'10.I don't the builder will be able to fulfill the commitmnt.evn my home loan is approved.I don't know wht to do.Now at the time of signing the agreement i have been told tht i will be allocate a different flat, thn wht i was promised.The reason given is that the actual owner has not still not cleared the loan with LIC, with whom it is mortgage.I have been told tht i will get the same flat as i was promised but after 3 or 4 months, as the mortgage from the owner needs to been cleared n then the flat transferd in my name.till thn the builder will give me an alternate flat....this seems really fishy..please advise.

This is the formalities that you have to fulfill and also in your favour. Becasue untill a property is released from the previous bank it cant be mortgage to your bank.However if you bank loan is approved then you may buy any other property in the same society, if you are interested then I have a flat for sale of 3BHK.
