I was planning to take a look and book a 3BHK apartment at Orchid Springs. However I just googled it up and found so many issues around the building. Can somebody please clarify the overall issue and also let me know what the current status of the project is and whether it is worth buying?

I have booked a aprtment 4 weeks ago at Orchid Springs in Gulmohar block (507). Prior to booking I was not aware of the issues with the project. From what I have understood from all the discussions in this forum and other websites, this project was launched first in 2006 without CMDA approval and the builder had taken upto 25% money upfront, but for some reasons they were unable to get approval to start the project. Some say it was a Metro water pipe line issue but I am still not sure what was the exact cause of delay. But now the required approvals have been received and work is going on at the site. After making my booking and seeing the reports I have personally visited the site at late evenings around 8 to 9 p.m. and seen the piling work going on. Coming to pricing, the project price is being increased by builder on monthly basis. I booked it for 3950/sqft and got a modular kitchen free and one of my frieds booked it a week ago for 4200/sqft. What is the source of the information ??
As per agreement and also as per my discussions with the Alliance people the first phase will be completed by June 2013, from my exp as an engg the scope of work looks tough to achieve in 1 year, may be a few more months may be reqd, entire project completion will be by 2015.

Guys...Alliance is number one fraud builder..please do not invest in any of their projects..Talk to buyers of Orchid Springs to know the reality. Orchid Springs was pre launched in 2006 and no work was started till 2010 and still in 2015 it is not yet completed. Aliance is also charging unfair interest on delayed payments for and no payments made from their end for such huge delay. Pathetic staff and worst construction quality. PLEASE DO NOT GET TRAPPED BY THEIR SALES PERSON.
